Scott Casey was called to the bar in early 2021 and has hit the ground running, establishing a sound Family Law and Crime practice.   His background consists of years of policing, before transitioning into the role of Police Prosecutor where he led teams in all areas of Prosecuting including Child Protection, Fraud and Domestic Violence.  It was here that he found his passion for law.

Scott obtained his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2013 whilst residing in Victoria.  After working with some of Melbourne’s most prestigious law firms, he moved to Brisbane and continued as a solicitor before being called to the bar.    He appears regularly in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in all facets of family law.  He also appears in the District and Supreme Courts in Brisbane as well as majority of the Magistrates Courts in Brisbane and surrounding areas.  Scott is often the first to accept matters in rural and interstate Courts, including a recent trip to Darwin for a Family Law trial.

He is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA) and accepts Legal Aid briefs.
