Christopher Hughes was first admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a barrister in October 2019.

Christopher practices primarily in Family Law, Child Protection, Domestic Violence and Criminal Law.

He has experience appearing in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court, as well as the Supreme Court, District Court, Childrens Court and Magistrates Court of Queensland.

Prior to being called to the bar in 2019, Christopher practiced as a solicitor from 2010, holding positions with the Queensland Government and in private practice.

He is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland (FLPA) and the Child Protection Practitioners Association of Queensland (CPPAQ) and accepts Legal Aid briefs.
